The study stems from the need of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) business colleges to explore and tackle the risks arising from the regional and global challenges that jeopardize their role and relevance in the future. A survey was sent to the deans of over 80 GCC business colleges to gauge their perceptions about the challenges facing their colleges. The results identified international accreditation and shortage of qualified faculty as the top challenges. Finally, the authors outline some recommendations for addressing these challenges toward the sustainability and promotion of GCC business education. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.11889/8410 | DOI: | 10.1080/08832323.2019.1595502 |
