Abstract: The Institute of Community and Public Health, Birzeit University, West Bank, offers postgraduate public health training to Palestinian physicians, nurses, and other health professionals. We describe the substantial efforts undertaken to maintain public health education in times of conflict and severe deprivation, and highlight various strategies, including use of computer techniques.
