Abstract: In this research, Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) control was applied to capture the maximum possible power from Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG). The Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) was applied using Simulink tools in MATLAB. The parameters of WECS tuning to reach the unity power factor, thus it can capture the maximum possible power from WECS. Simulation results show that wind speed plays an essential role in rotor speed and electromagnetic torque due to the proportional relation between wind speed and power.
