Abstract: Palestine’s accession to a large number of international treaties occurred in the absence of a constitutional provision that clarified their status within the domestic legal system. In 2018 the Supreme Constitutional Court unsuccessfully tried to fill this gap, and further exacerbated the problem it sought to resolve.
