dc.description.abstractThis paper discusses two main ideas for vibration isolation of hand-held tools to avoid health syndrome of men working on these machines. The first technique is based on using integral force feedback active control in parallel with passive damping. Simulation results of this technique have shown high performance for this technique on transmitted vibrations. The second technique is based on frequency reduction for the purpose of vibration isolation using proportional plus integral feedback active control technique. Simulation and some experimental results on a similar system are shown at the end of the paper.en_US
