Radiation therapy for cancer patients is limited and inaccessible in middle- and low-income countries, respectively, although desperately needed, especially when cancer is diagnosed at advanced stages, as happens in these countries. Radiation therapy is the most cost-effective treatment for curative and palliative cancer care, especially when combined with surgery. | Description: | Article in International Journal of Radiation Oncology, vol. 98, no. 3 | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.11889/5048 |
