Abstract: Globalization creates a concept that facilitates the growth of fundamentalism in its various forms. This applies both to the societies of the Center, to the centers of globalization, and to the same extent to the societies of the periphery, even if the forms and expressions of this growth differ. In order to support this thesis, I will use what Edward Said called "contra-point reading" in the context of culture and imperialism.
