Abstract: This paper presents a novel and inexpensive method to develop and assess nonlinear control system of induction motors. The proposed systems may operate without speed and are not sensitive to rotor and stator resistances. A voltage source invertor feeds the induction motor with hysteresis or preductive current controllers. The presented idea may be treated as an improvement on the principle of nonlinear control of induction motors. Simulation results will be presented using the proposed control systems
