Abstract

The British Army in action in Mesopotamia, the struggle and suffering of the soldiers during WWI in Iraq, the relation with native population, the diversity of the native population. This is a story of an "eye-witness" , although the censorship was a great obstacle for the writer, that prevented many event from being narrated or even discussed with the fellow officers, all the events where gathered and told by the people which war was their profession.
