An Assessment of the First Year of Life MCH Growth Monitoring Records of Governmental MCH Centres in the Ramallah District for the year 1992

Abstract

This study was initiated with the aim of examining the Maternal and Child Health Care Centres of the Governmental health services for the purpse of identifying the problems and suggesting solutions. The study covered 24 villages MCH centres in addition to Ramallah and al-Bireh MCH centres. An initial examination of the records revealed a very low level of recording. This is why it was decided that only records containing 5 entries or more during the period of January 1992 till December 1992, will be picked up for this investigation.
