Abstract: “Fake News in Palestine: Exploratory Research into Content, Channels, and Responses” was developed by 7amleh - The Arab Center for Advancement of Social Media to respond to the growing, and unstudied phenomenon of fake news in Palestine. Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, the internet has been flooded with misinformation and fake news about the coronavirus. This led 7amleh to urgently consider how to more effectively research and monitor fake news phenomena in Palestine and engage the public in a conversation about media literacy, misinformation, and fake news.
