Abstract: Digital technologies play a vital role in all domains of our daily life, including teaching. Information and communication technologies for education offer a range of facilities from which learners can benefit. This is why their integration in teaching and especially in writing essays becomes a pedagogical challenge. This study focuses on the analysis of the real impact of digital technologies on the quality of essays written by learners of A1-A2 level at Birzeit University. It tries to study the impact of this integration on the acquisition of skills among these students. Therefore, it aims to compare the performance of students in writing essays before and after the integration of digital technologies.
