Travels and politics in the Near East

Abstract

This work is a result of four visits to the Balkan peninsula at the end of the 19th century. It is all built upon the self-experience, observation and inquiries. Neutrally, the author tries to describe the crisis that dominated all the people of South-Eastern Europe, without taking sides of any of the parties, and looking equally at every nationality and people who lived in that area.
